Our Mission Statement

The Cayuga Fire Department is a small, rural volunteer fire department located in the Finger Lakes Region of Central New York. Our department provides fire protection service to the Village of Cayuga, as well as a BLS Ambulance for EMS, a boat for water rescues on Cayuga Lake, and a light rescue for other related tasks. With manpower shortages in most volunteer fire departments,mutual aid and good working relationships are more imperative now then ever before. Our department is regularly called out to our neighboring towns in Cayuga and Seneca Counties to assist their fire departments.
